Letter to all Lib Dem Chatteris Supporters

We, the Liberal Democrat Candidate Team for Chatteris, would like to thank everyone who gave us their time, their help and their support in the May elections. During several weeks 'run up' we delivered leaflets to practically every household in Chatteris and knocked on the doors of more than half the homes to engage in many interesting conversations with residents.

Clearly, our Agenda for Change has caused much lively debate about the future of Chatteris. The desire for change was reflected at the ballot box with all our 12 Candidates polling considerable numbers of votes. In fact, we calculate that over 42% of the votes cast were for the Lib Dem team.

Those three that were elected to office will now take this resounding message from voters into the Council chamber and argue passionately for the change and improvement that Chatteris deserves. We will continue to ensure through our newsletters that the people of Chatteris are kept regularly informed of our progress.

We will also guarantee that residents get a chance to have a say on the future of their town more than once every 4 years !

Yours sincerely,

Diane, John, Colleen,Ed, Christine, Jan, Chris, Chris, Josie, Verity, Rob and Adrian

Congratulations to our 3 successful Candidates

Letter to all March Lib Dem Supporters

We would like to say thank you to the many people who honoured us with their support at the ballot box in the May elections. Although sadly none of the team won a seat, the level of interest in our policies was inspiring and the level of support very heartening. Residents can be assured that we shall be building on the base that has been established, and the Lib Dem movement is now set to go from strength to strength in this area!

Yours sincerely,

Paul, Stephen,Tony, Chris, Alex, Heather, Verity and Mike (Liberal Democrat Candidate Team for March and Wimblington)
